Prior to the launch of Fast and Furious, Andre’, together with Mr. Frank Mni-owner of Xtreme Enterprises aka Mags 4 u, started a club called “Team Poison” together they created one of the best known car clubs in South Africa. Their vision was to create a consumer based entity with the buying power to lower prices, and at the same time increasing professional services to the younger generation keen on modifying vehicles.
Although this concept seemed easy to grasp, some how Durbanites could not bring it to light, thus putting Andre in the position to utilise his years of experience growing up in the motor industry in the creation of “East Coast Customs”. Having over 50 years in the motor industry, Andre’s dad trained and motivated him to better understand it, Andre received his B-Com Degree from the University of Durban-Westville. Using his tertiary education, together with the passion for motor vehicles instilled by his dad, Andre became a second-generation automotive refinisher, taking the industry into a new direction. He has combined auto refinishing with audio installations and vehicle modifications. Complimenting the lines, shapes and curves put Andre ahead of many companies within the industry, finishing his project cars to factory workmanship.
Gary Sanders putting his experience playing in SPL Audio shops together with his Graphic Design studies, makes dreams a reality. Gary’s grandfather and mentor enjoyed learning about various arts, making him a versatile artisan who could create masterpieces others could only imagine. Gary and Andre together brought about the birth of ” Infinite Individuality”, The East Coast Customs motto they earned for producing vehicles that have no limits. Their idea is ” you vision it…we create it”.
